2026 has already been a very special year for Vale Apiary.
First, we were awarded the highest possible Food Hygiene Rating of 5, recognising the standards and care that go into what we do at Honeypot Barn.
Then, just one week later, our Vale of Glamorgan Honey received a Great Taste 1-star award from the Guild of Fine Food.
Two completely different achievements, one recognising the way we work and the other the quality and flavour of the food we produce.
For a small independent business here in the Vale of Glamorgan, receiving both within the space of a week was a moment we were incredibly proud of.

Two milestones
Hot Honey made in small batches with honey, cider vinegar and a carefully balanced infusion of de árbol and habanero chillies.
Sweet, bright and gently fiery, it is perfect for drizzling over pizza, cheese, roasted vegetables, fried chicken and anything that needs a little heat.
